The Perfect Playlists for Gatherings

« SCROLL PHOTOS LEFT TO RIGHT »

Some of my favourite places to eat in Melbourne have music playlists nearly as good as the food they serve! So often we’ll be dining at a cafe or restaurant and Mike will have his phone out, awkwardly Shazaming the airwaves to discover that new favourite song (some of which you’ll find in the playlists below). Music makes such a big difference to the overall dining experience and is often just as important as the meal itself.

Today's post features two playlists to compliment your next gathering or big event… A Mellow Mix (indie, folk) and a Background Jazz mix (mainly instrumental). A few of my playlist highlights are James Vincent McMorrow, Ray LaMontagne, Yuna and Broods.

Checkout the playlist below and feel free to follow me on Spotify for future playlist creations.

Did I leave anything out? Let me know if you have any genre tailored playlist requests and I’ll try work them into my next playlist mix.

Enjoy!
