Don’t you just love the joy of preparing a gift for someone you love? I know I do! I personally believe that beautiful, thoughtful wrapping, is also an extension of the gift itself. I have a cupboard full of cards, ribbon, twine, stamps, boxes and bags I’ve collected over the years, half of which is recycled pieces I’ve kept from beautiful gifts given to me.

Now you don’t necessarily need to purchase an expensive card and wrapping paper. Sometimes it just takes a little resourcefulness and know-how to create that fabulous looking present on a budget.

So with Christmas now only TWO weeks away!! Woo! I thought I’d create some super cute printable Christmas gift tags you can use on your gifts. I’ve also shown three different wrapping styles that may provide some inspiration for when you’re preparing your gifts this year.

Also, if you haven't already, make sure you check out my other Christmas posts, especially my Mega Berry Pavlova and my Quick & Healthy Christmas Pudding.

FREEBIES PACK  (link at end of post)

  • 12 designs across 4 x PDF printables

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Printable download
  • White card in stock of choice (preferably between 200 - 300gsm)
  • Computer & printer
  • PDF viewer (e.g. Adobe Reader)
  • Hole punch & twine

THE STEPS

  1. Print out the gift tags on A4 or US letter paper. (I like to use a thicker matte paper stock between 200 - 300gsm, fed through the rear tray of my printer) Make sure in your printer setup that your print quality is set to 'high'.
  2. Using scissors, a blade or guillotine, cut around the dotted line on the outer edges. (I like to use a guillotine to ensure my lines are straight)
  3. Punch a hole in the top of the tag, add twine, write a special note on the back and attach it to your wrapped gift. ☺
